If you are applying for Italian citizenship by marriage or residence, you need a B1 certificate from a recognised exam body. Most courses teach you the exam. I prepare you for the exam and for the life that comes after it.

What the B1 exam asks

Listening, reading, writing and speaking at an intermediate level, in the formats of the recognised bodies: CILS, CELI, PLIDA and Cert.it. The oral part is where most candidates lose points, and it is exactly where I work best.

Preparation that builds real fluency

  • Two full mock exams in the format you will sit, with written feedback.
  • The speaking test rehearsed until it feels like a conversation, not an interrogation.
  • Everyday Italian for the comune, the questura and your neighbours, long after the certificate.

Do you issue the certificate?
No: the certificate is issued by the exam bodies. I prepare you to sit the exam with confidence.

Sessions are valid for 3 months. Rescheduling is free with 24 hours’ notice.

We decide together in the intro call, based on dates and exam centres near you.
